Slack is where your team already talks. Connect it to mirror workspace notifications into a channel you choose, and to talk to DesignTech AI from inside Slack itself.

What you get
- Workspace notifications (finished runs, reviews waiting, failures worth knowing about) mirror to one channel or person you pick, so the team hears about work without watching the app.
- The Slack assistant: DM the DesignTech AI bot, or mention it in a channel, and it answers with a real working turn over your workspace. It is the same assistant AI Home runs, able to search ContentCanvas, check runs, and act through your connected apps.
- Slack is a notification and assistant surface, not a content destination: nothing is imported from Slack, and it never becomes a publish channel for finished assets.
How to connect
- Open Integrations on the left rail and switch to the Add apps tab. Connecting apps needs the org admin role; every member can see what is already connected.
- Find Slack in the catalog and press Connect. A popup asks you to sign in to Slack and approve access.
- Once approved, the app appears under Connected apps, where you can test the connection, review the tools it exposes, or disconnect it at any time.
Setup after connecting
- After connecting, pick the channel or person notifications should go to: that one choice is required before Slack does anything.
- The assistant is a separate switch on the Slack settings: turn it on and the bot starts answering DMs and @-mentions.
How teams use it
The production run finishes while the team is heads-down in Slack: the notification lands in the channel, someone asks the bot what the run produced, and the answer comes back in the thread without anyone opening the app.
