Questions
Competitor research questions
What are the two formats?
Competitor research profiles up to five competitors (six companies with yours) on messaging, product, audience and latest news, with a landscape map. Competitor social review takes up to three competitors (four with yours) and reads ten recent LinkedIn posts each, showing what every post earned, who gets the attention and the posts to answer.
Where does the information come from?
From public pages only: each competitor's website, press and public LinkedIn posts. Every finding points back to its source in the appendix, and nothing is stated that a source does not carry.
Can I include my own company?
Yes. Tick "Put us on the map too" or "Score us too" and your own site is read and placed beside the competitors you named.
Do I need to connect any accounts?
No. You give it competitor web addresses and what you want to learn; it reads public pages and nothing else.
What do I download?
One branded, designed report with company sections, the landscape map or post scores, and a sources appendix, saved to your Gallery as an editable report with a PDF download.
Can I run it again later?
Yes. Run it again with the same competitors to see what has changed, or add a new one to the set.
Competitor research reads only what your competitors publish: their websites, their news and their public LinkedIn posts, plus your own site when you ask to be put on the map or scored too. It connects to none of your accounts. How DesignTech handles your data
