Acceptable Use Policy

1. Use material you have the right to use

Generate from material you own or are authorized to use. Do not use the Service to reproduce, imitate or pass off another company's brand, trademarks, logos or copyrighted work as your own, or to build a brand system for an organization you do not represent.

Do not upload or generate a real person's likeness or voice without their permission, or use the Service to make content that infringes anyone's copyright, trademark, privacy or publicity rights.

2. Collecting content from the web

When you import a website, give the Service an address to read, or ask it to research something, you must not instruct it, or use software or agents to instruct it, to:

• collect content you are not permitted to access or use, or collect in breach of a site's terms, where those terms bind you;
• reach content behind a login, paywall or other access control that you are not authorized to use, for example by giving the Service sign-in details, session links or private addresses;
• get around CAPTCHAs, rate limits, IP blocks, robots.txt instructions or any other technical measure a site uses to control access, for example by disguising or relaying requests or by supplying tools or instructions designed to defeat those measures;
• collect personal data in bulk, collect special-category or sensitive personal data, or build lists, profiles or databases of individuals;
• use collected data, including the names and words of people in public posts and comments the Service's research gathers, to surveil or track people, for people-search services, to build contact lists, or for decisions about anyone's credit, employment, housing, insurance or eligibility for services; or
• copy a site's content to republish it wholesale, to build a competing dataset or service, or to train AI models where that is not permitted.

These rules are about what you ask the Service to do. How the Service itself collects is described in section 6 of the Terms of Use: our page reader checks robots.txt before it imports a page (the reads that do not are listed there) and refuses private addresses; when a page refuses the reader or comes back nearly empty, the Service may read it through Bright Data's unlocking service, which is built to retrieve pages that turn automated readers away; and research collection is carried out through Bright Data. Because the Service can do that on your instruction, the rules above apply to the addresses you give it: do not direct it at content you are not permitted to collect, or that a site's terms binding you forbid you to collect.

3. Illegal and harmful content

Do not use the Service to create, upload or distribute content that:

• sexualizes minors in any way, which we report to the authorities;
• is unlawful, or promotes or facilitates illegal activity;
• harasses, threatens, bullies or defames anyone, or promotes violence or hatred against a person or group;
• is sexually explicit or depicts non-consensual intimate imagery;
• promotes terrorism or violent extremism, or encourages self-harm; or
• contains malware, or is designed to compromise systems or data.

4. Deception and impersonation

Do not use the Service to deceive people. That includes fake reviews, testimonials or endorsements; impersonating a real person or organization; synthetic images, audio or video of real people presented as genuine; phishing or fraudulent material; and false or misleading claims about products, health or finance.

Do not remove or alter provenance information, watermarks or labels that identify content as AI-generated, and disclose that content is AI-generated wherever the law requires you to.

5. Spam and unlawful marketing

Do not use the Service, its publishing features or the leads it collects to send unsolicited bulk messages, or to market in breach of anti-spam, e-privacy or consumer-protection laws. Contact people only where you have the permission or lawful basis those laws require.

6. Regulated claims are yours to verify

Marketing in regulated categories, including health, finance, legal services, and claims about products' performance, carries obligations we cannot check for you. You are responsible for the accuracy and compliance of anything you publish.

7. Misuse of the Service

Do not:

• access another customer's workspace or data, or probe, scan or test the Service's security without our written permission;
• overload or disrupt the Service, or get around usage limits, rate limits, credit charges, access controls or bot protection;
• open multiple accounts, or use automated sign-up, to claim promotional credit;
• reverse engineer, decompile or copy the Service, extract its prompts, templates or models, or use it or its outputs to build or train a competing product;
• resell, sublicense or share access to the Service without our written agreement; or
• use MCP access or AI agents to do anything this policy forbids. What an agent does with your access is your responsibility.

8. Enforcement

We may investigate suspected violations. If we find one we may remove or disable content, limit or switch off features for your account, suspend or close accounts, and report conduct to the authorities or to the affected rights holder. We will tell you why unless the law or the safety of others prevents it. Where a violation is serious or clearly deliberate, we may act immediately and without notice.

Suspension is not deletion: a suspended workspace can still be exported unless the law requires us to remove or preserve the content.

9. Reporting a violation

Report misuse of the Service to abuse@designtech.ai, with links or details of the content concerned. Copyright complaints follow the Copyright Policy.
