Mint the token

Open any asset in ContentCanvas, choose Share, then Embed. You get a token and a snippet. No build, no deploy, no developer ticket.

Drop it in

Because every asset records what it was built from, a change to a source is not a change to one file. It is a change with a known blast radius: the platform can tell you exactly which assets are affected, refresh them as new versions with the old ones intact, and serve the result to every placement they appear in.

Nothing auto-publishes without a human. The refresh is offered, reviewed, and approved, then it is live everywhere at once.

The host page chooses a mode and a size. It never sends HTML, and neither does the AI. Renders are assembled only from vetted components in our own component catalog, validated before they cross the wire.

A token reaches exactly one asset and the media inside it. Anything outside that scope is not merely refused, it is invisible: the request comes back as not found, so a token can never be used to probe your workspace.

Renders are cached by asset, size, and content state, so an unchanged placement is nearly free and any edit busts the cache. Public routes are rate limited and marked no-index.

Questions

The things teams ask first

Do I need a developer to place this?
No, if your CMS lets you paste a custom HTML block, which almost all of them do. It is two lines, pasted once. A developer is only involved if your site blocks third-party scripts entirely, and even then the sandboxed frame fallback is a single tag.
What happens if a placement should not change?
Pin it. A pinned placement is locked to a specific version and behaves exactly like a static export, while still being something you can list, audit, and later unpin. Use it for anything attached to a signed agreement or a regulated claim.
Will it match the page it sits on?
It renders from your brand system, not the host's, which is the point: a partner page shows your asset looking like your asset. The canvas renders inside shadow DOM so the host's stylesheet cannot bleed in and break it, and fragment mode is there for the cases where you do want it to flow with the host's own typography.
What does a visitor see if something goes wrong?
Never a blank space. Every render path falls back to a readable version of the content, and an unsupported combination degrades to the document view rather than failing. A worse render always beats an empty box on your customer's page.
Is the content indexed by search engines?
The delivery endpoints themselves are marked no-index, so your placements do not compete with your own pages. The host page owns its SEO exactly as it does today.
How does this relate to content repurposing?
Repurposing is how the asset gets made: one source becomes a carousel, an ad, a landing page, an email. Delivery is what happens after. The same block graph that makes repurposing possible is what makes a live placement possible, which is why both are one platform and not two products. See the repurposing side.
